A witch flying at night — a Witchspire broom-flight tip scene
Broom recovery trick. Summon your broom mid-fall to recover from any height. Don’t waste a fall-damage Potion.

Combat tips

  1. Always dodge-roll through telegraphed attacks. Witchspire has very generous i-frames (12 frames).
  2. Stamina is more important than health. Manage it before HP — a starved player is a dead player.
  3. Bind the Hearth Hound FIRST. It auto-defends your base and tanks adds in every boss fight.

Crafting tips

  1. Don’t skip the Refining Bench — it doubles your ore output and is the first Hearth upgrade you should grab.
  2. Iron Ingot is the most-used material. Stockpile at least 50 before you go exploring.
  3. Save rare materials (Lumin Shards, Brine Pearls) for Hearth upgrades, not consumables.

Familiars tips

  1. Bind the Lantern Moth as your second Familiar — it reveals hidden chests worth thousands of Spirit Dust.
  2. Familiar evolution tokens are best spent on Hearth Hound and Gloom Imp first.
  3. Familiars don’t die permanently — they respawn at your Hearth for free.

Broom tips

  1. You can summon your broom mid-fall to recover from any height. Don’t waste a fall-damage Potion.

Hearth tips

  1. Build Wardstones around your Hearth — they stop mob spawns in a wide radius.
  2. The Hearth Brazier lights a wide area. Craft one before you go caving.
  3. Hearth Hound Kibble is a 1-spirit-Dust recipe. Always have 5 on hand.

Coven tips

  1. Switching Covens is free at Hearth level 8. Get to 8 before you commit to a main.
  2. Stonekin is the cheapest Coven to play. Mirewarden is the safest solo pick. Emberkin is the highest damage.
  3. Every Coven can be ranked to 5. The XP transfers between Covens for free.

Luminary tips

  1. Don’t skip Luminaries. Each one gives +1 Hearth level, which is the biggest single power spike.
  2. Luminary channels can be re-done once per day for bonus Spirit Dust. Always do the daily re-channel.

Bosses tips

  1. Bring a Mire-Cure Potion to the Bog Witch. It cleanses the phase 2 Mire Rot debuff.
  2. Save your Coven’s signature spell for phase 2 and 3. Phase 1 is basic-attack only.
  3. Hard mode adds 50% HP, 25% damage, and one extra attack per phase. It’s not for new players.

Co-op tips

  1. A 6-player co-op run beats any 4-player run. Always fill the lobby.
  2. Two Threadmaidens in a co-op group gives you 70% Familiar damage. Always bring two.
  3. The Hearth Hound is even better in co-op — it tanks adds for the whole group.

Exploration tips

  1. Don’t farm in your first 10 hours. Just explore — the world drops more than enough loot.
  2. Chests respawn daily. Hit the same chest route every day for free Spirit Dust.

Economy tips

  1. Spirit Dust is the universal currency. Don’t spend it on cosmetics early.
  2. The fastest Spirit Dust farm is the Veiled Steppes Luminary circuit. See our guide.
