Witchspire Hearth Guide

Your Hearth is your Witchspire home base. Leveling it unlocks new crafting stations, additional Familiar slots, and the Spire Gate that gates the final boss. This guide covers every Hearth upgrade from level 1 to 20, with material costs and tips for each tier.

Hearth basics

Your Hearth is the only permanent structure in Witchspire. It respawns you on death, lets you switch Covens, and is the hub for every crafting station in the game. You start at Hearth level 1 and can reach Hearth level 20 in roughly 60 hours of play.

Hearth XP comes from three sources: crafting, building Hearth structures, and defeating bosses. Boss kills give the largest chunk of Hearth XP at once.

Max Hearth level 20

Max Hearth level 20 is achievable in roughly 60 hours. The hardest material to farm is the Feather of the Gloom Matriarch, which is required for the Spire Gate at level 10. It has a 12% drop rate from the Gloom Matriarch on Hard mode, and a 25% drop rate on a 6-player co-op run.

Material farming

  • Spirit Dust — farm Luminaries in the Veiled Steppes. Roughly 200 Spirit Dust per hour with a Tier-S Coven.
  • Iron Ingot — smelt Iron Ore from the Stonefalls. Roughly 80 Ingots per hour.
  • Lumin Shard — drop from Luminaries or buy from the Hearth vendor at Hearth level 8+.
  • Brine Pearl — farm the Brine Coast at night. Roughly 4 Pearls per hour solo, 10 with a 6-player coven.
