Witchspire co-op basics

Witchspire supports up to 6 players in online co-op. There is no split-screen or LAN support — co-op is online only. The party is hosted by one player; the rest join via a 6-character code or Steam friends list.

What scales in co-op

  • Monster HP scales with party size. A 6-player boss has roughly 3.5× the HP of a solo boss.
  • Loot also scales. Each kill drops more loot in co-op, so a 6-player coven is the most efficient way to play.
  • Boss mechanics do not scale — adds, phases, and debuffs are the same. Co-op is harder, not easier.

Is there PvP?

No. Witchspire is a co-op PvE game only. There is no PvP mode. You can grief by attacking party members, but the game is designed for co-op, not competition.

Is there crossplay?

Yes. PC players on Steam can play with anyone on PC, including the Epic Games Store version when it launches. Console crossplay (Switch 2, Xbox) will arrive with the 1.0 update in Q4 2026.
