Ocean-witch hybrid who can swap to a tidal heal at the Hearth. Flexible, but not the best at either role.

Signature spell

Brine Aegis — Tidecaller’s signature spell is what defines the Coven. It’s a 12-second cooldown ability that scales with both Spirit Power and Hearth level.

The current best Tidecaller build is called Tidecaller Hybrid Farmer. It focuses on the talents that scale best with Hearth level 8+ and works in both solo and 6-player co-op.

Talent priority

1. Row 1 — main stat talent: +10% Hybrid DPS / Healer damage. Take this first.
2. Row 2 — signature enhancement: Reduces Brine Aegis cooldown by 2 seconds.
3. Row 3 — Hearth bonus talent: +15% Hearth build speed and +5% Hearth level cap.
4. Row 4 — utility talent: Reduces mana cost of all spells by 10%.
5. Row 5 — ultimate passive: Unlocks at Coven rank 5. Build-defining.

Gear priority

For Tidecaller you want gear that boosts Spirit Power and Hearth bonus. Look for the "Woven Mantle" set (drops from Bog Witch on Hard mode) and the "Brine Pearl Ring" (crafted at Hearth level 6).

How to play Tidecaller in solo

In solo play, Tidecaller is a solid choice with clear trade-offs. The opening combo is: cast Brine Aegis → weave in your basic attack for 4 seconds → cast again. Rinse and repeat, using your broom to reposition when your mana drops below 30%.

How to play Tidecaller in co-op

In a 6-player coven, Tidecaller fits into the standard hybrid dps / healer slot. Pair Tidecaller with one Threadmaiden (for Familiar damage buff) and at least one Mirewarden (for emergency healing).
