Pyromaniac pyromancers who spec into Ignite stacks. Highest single-target burst in the current patch.

Signature spell

Pyre Cascade — Emberkin’s signature spell is what defines the Coven. It’s a 12-second cooldown ability that scales with both Spirit Power and Hearth level.

Best Emberkin build (Patch 0.1.4)

The current best Emberkin build is called Emberkin Ignite Bomber. It focuses on the talents that scale best with Hearth level 8+ and works in both solo and 6-player co-op.

Talent priority

1. Row 1 — main stat talent: +10% Burst DPS damage. Take this first.
2. Row 2 — signature enhancement: Reduces Pyre Cascade cooldown by 2 seconds.
3. Row 3 — Hearth bonus talent: +15% Hearth build speed and +5% Hearth level cap.
4. Row 4 — utility talent: Reduces mana cost of all spells by 10%.
5. Row 5 — ultimate passive: Unlocks at Coven rank 5. Build-defining.

Gear priority

For Emberkin you want gear that boosts Spirit Power and Hearth bonus. Look for the "Woven Mantle" set (drops from Bog Witch on Hard mode) and the "Brine Pearl Ring" (crafted at Hearth level 6).

How to play Emberkin in solo

In solo play, Emberkin is one of the strongest classes in the game. The opening combo is: cast Pyre Cascade → weave in your basic attack for 4 seconds → cast again. Rinse and repeat, using your broom to reposition when your mana drops below 30%.

How to play Emberkin in co-op

In a 6-player coven, Emberkin fits into the standard burst dps slot. Pair Emberkin with one Threadmaiden (for Familiar damage buff) and at least one Mirewarden (for emergency healing).
