Overview

Adds 3 Ignite stacks per melee swing. Run Ignite resist potions.

Recommended Coven

Emberkin is the best Coven for the Pyre Warden fight thanks to its single-target burst. Mirewarden is the second-best pick for solo — its self-heal covers the biggest damage windows in phase 2.

Recommended Familiars

  • Hearth Hound — tanks adds in phase 3.
  • Gloom Imp — burst damage in phase 1 and 2.

Phase 1 (100% → 66% HP)

The Pyre Warden uses basic melee and a ranged spell. Dodge-roll through the spell (it has a clear telegraph) and use the gaps to land 3–4 hits. Save your cooldowns for phase 2.

Phase 2 (66% → 33% HP)

A new attack pattern starts. Pyre Warden applies a stacking debuff — cleanse it at your Hearth or use a Mire-Cure Potion. At this point, your Coven’s signature spell is your biggest damage tool. Use it on cooldown.

Phase 3 (33% → 0% HP)

Pyre Warden summons adds. Keep the Hearth Hound on the adds and burn the boss. In solo play, the safest pattern is to kite adds around the arena while landing ranged attacks.

Hard mode

On Hard mode the Pyre Warden has +50% HP, +25% damage, and one extra attack per phase. The unique cosmetic drop is Pyre Warden’s Visage, a head-piece with a unique particle effect.

Loot table

  • Woven Mantle (set piece, 12% drop)
  • Spirit Dust ×120 (guaranteed)
  • Lumin Shard ×2 (guaranteed)
  • Pyre Warden’s Visage (Hard mode, 8% drop)
